Free full-length Digital SAT practice tests

1. Bluebook: the official app (start here)

College Board’s own Bluebook app has full-length, official Digital SAT practice tests, free. These are the real thing: real questions, real adaptive modules, real interface. If you only do one kind of practice, do these, because nothing else is more representative of test day. Download Bluebook from College Board and take at least one before your exam.

2. Khan Academy: official, free, and structured

Khan Academy’s Digital SAT practice is made in official partnership with College Board and is completely free. It is strongest as a skill-builder and for working through targeted practice with explanations. Between Bluebook and Khan Academy, a lot of students have everything they strictly need.

3. BrightSAT: more volume and analytics

We built BrightSAT for the gap that opens up after those two: when you want more full-length tests, a larger bank to drill specific skills, and analytics that show where your time and points are actually going. The free plan includes full-length, Bluebook-style adaptive tests, the question bank, vocabulary, and 400–1600 score estimates, with no payment required.

We are transparent about what we are not: we are independent, not affiliated with College Board, and our score estimates are estimates, not official results. For the most authentic single test, Bluebook wins. For volume and feedback across many tests, that is what we do.

A word on “free” that isn’t

If a site claims to sell or give away real, leaked, or unreleased SAT questions, stay away from it. That is either a scam or a violation of College Board’s rules, and it can put your scores at risk. Authentic practice comes from official sources and from tools that write their own test-format questions honestly.
